I am hoping that someone can help me with this problem. My internet provider is HughesNet (DirecTV), and I use Yahoo for my main email accounts. When I click on an email address on a web page, a new program starts. It asks me questions about my ISP and other such things that I have no idea what they are.
Any ideas on how to fix or set it up so I can access/send email from a web page?
Thanks,
Janelle
Your internet service provider should have provided you with free email accounts that they can help you configure. Then your computer will be able to send email when you click on links. You can configure it to send from your yahoo account, but I don't know how to make those changes. It involved going into your files and entering stuff in the places that say things like smtp protocal, etc. If you go to view at the top of your browser and hit view page source, you should be able to see what their email address is and be able to copy and paste it and use it from yahoo, also. Everyone needs a techie in their life!
