date put on website for contest

I wish there was a date that the contest was added to the website, maybe under the expiring date.

I look at some and wonder did I look at these before, I know there is the 'One Time' green/red and that is great but it

would just be nice to see the date the contest was posted to the sweepstakestoday website.

This is a great suggestion.  I will talk to Mr. Sweepy and see about this one.  I cannot see why we couldn't do it.

I will get back to you all on this one.

    Mr. Softy.

Me personally, I'd prefer the date the sweep started so I know how long it's been running before I started entering.  I guess I'm lazy to have to check the rules page everytime, hee hee  But it's just a thought.  Another suggestion which would be VERY helpful is to be able to delete an "entered flag" not only on One Time Entries, but on Dailys and Instants too.  All of them.  Sometimes you can't enter after clicking in the link so there's no way to flag those to go back to later. (sometimes the site is temporarily down, not working properly, etc.)

I notice most sweeps are added to the list not long after the sweeps began.  By noticing the date of the first member comment posted, I can closely judge how long the sweep has been running.

I would prefer seeing the expiration date in the Lucky List so then when my time is limited I can get one last shot in an expiring sweep first.

I also would like to be able to undo a 'date entered' on a daily sweep for the same reasons mentioned above.

Thanks for listening to all of us.  I know it may seem the more we get, the more we want.  All the recent changes are much appreciated as your hard work.

Yes!  I would love an expiration date too!! Sometimes, if I have limited time, I would like to glance at the expiration date and enter the one that's expiring a week from today and skip the one expiring on 2/26/07 - know what I mean?

I would also really like some way to "personalize" my list by adding short notes or reminders. Until last week I did not use "My Sweeps." Instead I organized it in favorite places. Sadly I managed to "fry" my lap top and a friend had to wipe it clean to restore it; I lost everything!!l

In favorites, I would put an A, B, C - depending on it's value to me.

Also I might add "CAR" or "ITALY" etc ... as a reminder for my GOTTA WIN target sweeps.

If it was a weekly, I would add the weekday. (Some on the site are not listed in the correct categories.)

If it was a monthly I would put "Next Oct 1."

For odd entry periods such as one during "Jan 16- Mar 15"  then "Mar 16 - May 15", I would put "Next Mar 16."

On 24 hours, I added the time of day. (Some 24 hours n the site are in with dailies.)

** Just a suggestion. If Mr Softy has the ability to make changes and Mr Sweepy agrees it would be a great help. If not, as the Stones would say "You can't always get what you want ... but you can try sometime ...!"  Thanks for everything - this truly is the Bomb!

i agree with some of these people too. i think the expiration date right there on the lucky list next to the sweep would be awesome. it would really help when you cant remember which ones are ending soon and youre trying to get in that last entry. right now it just says the last date you enetered, but thats usually pretty obvious to those of us doing them everyday.

i also have a bit of a suggestion, albeit a silly one because its just being lazy (or uneducated about sweeps language and catches) that the sweeps be identified somehow if you cannot use roboform or autofill or other "help". its hard for me to figure out which ones i get disqualified from by using these. if there was some way to flag a sweep as either a bad idea for auto or a way to show you dont think its wise to use form fillers....that would help sooo much. its my biggest scare every entry is that im disqualified and i dont even know it. even after reading the rules, sometimes its really hard for me to tell.

and th idea about being able to pu a small note in the margin is a great one too.

but i know you guys do all you can and already work to the bone for us....just a thought! and happy new year!

Re: date put on website for contest

I copy and paste the info from "My lucky List" into a word document delete the remove button, change the heading from "Entered" to Date Ending, (put in the date) and print it out. I also note what type of prize is offered. This helps me stay on top of the ones that will be ending soon. (The last chance area is wonderful, thank you for that addition.) I then keep those in a file for reference on the off chance I should be contacted about a win. I recieved a check that was a scam, I was able to check to see if I'd entered a sweep by that name. (I hadn't) The bank caught the scam, I would have been out about 5000.00 had I cashed the check. The FBI has the check and all the info that came with it.

Mr. Sweepy, Mr. Softy, and you lovely ladies who help with this web site, Thank you for all you do. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and the New Year brings many wins.
