Are many our entries void and null because we enter through this site?

I was reading a discussion on another sweep site that if you enter through a sweeps site, many sweeps state that your entry will be void-? I have been entering once a day for months now through  this site- I use robo form-  now I wonder if this is why I never win anything-?!?  The people discussing this were talking about using passcards and totally by passing entering  though the web site they used. Now I AM confused!!  Can someone please tell me that all the entering I have been doing has not been for no good?? PLEASE - can someone who understands this  explain? I do not know what to do now.  Thanks so much- I LOVE this site and am so thankful for Mr. Sweepy.

Since 12/06 I have entered thru this site and have won many, many, many times.  I am a member of the 10K club since 07 and the wins just keep coming my way.  Hope this answers your concerns.

Have no clue about discussion on another sweep site.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

    Hey Newport,

Although I’m not totally sure, I believe the answer to your question is if you enter via a website that you pay a subscription to automatically enter a sweep, that would be void.

These sites use software to go to the site and automatically enter the required information. That’s why a lot of sweeps sites require you to enter a code using letters, numbers, etc. Concerning using Roboform, autofill, copy and paste, unless the rules specifically state “manual entry”, “typed entry” or such, you’re free to use Roboform.

I do and I’ve won stuff, small things such as Red Robin gift card, bottle of wine, Throw rug, set of lotions from Nivea and I’ve only been using Mr Sweepy for three months. I’m hoping to win a car so my roommate will stop borrowing my car LOL.

Because there are tons of other sweepstake sites, remember that your chances of winning big is not so assured but can be done as others on this site have proofed.

Be thankful for your luck but don’t rely on it. :o)

Yep, this is my sole site and I have no complaints, just unfulfilled hopes in some regards.  If this was a winner "lock out" ST and Mr Sweepy would not be around.  If we didn't win, we would have nothing to post, others wouldn't see the successes and join and sponsors would look elsewhere.  Logically, the statements cannot apply to this site (or others operated in a similar vein).

Re: Are many our entries void and null because we enter through this site?

Hi Newport, Over the many years I have been sweeping online, there have been many rumors about voiding out entries. This could be done be either the sponsor and or their administrator. I will tell you that nearly all comments are false.

First off. RoboForm is a form filler and not a entry filling program.  With RoboForm in order to complete your entry, you MUST MANUALLY HIT THE THE ENTER BUTTON.  The problem mentioned in the rules is the computer programs called robots, macros or script programs. These are websites that create a program that will enter sweeps for you for a fee.  However the fact is, that in many of the quality sweeps they can not enter you because of the visual security box which has to be typed in by hand.  These program can not do this.  Some of these program/websites will use a passcard.

Second...  I watch very close the sponsors sweeps links we put into Sweepstakes Today's program. What this means is I will not put in a sweep that has a tracking code in the URL. If I put in a URL that had a tracking code, all of the entries would be void except the very first entry.

Third...  I will always use a sponsor's link verses a link by sweepstakes administrator. There is one sweepstakes administrator that might have in the past and may be now tracking sweepers if the entry starts from the administrators link.  By going through the sponsors link, the administrator can not back track the entry without putting both the sponsor and sweepstakes adminstrator in a legally liable situation.  So on is ST you might have to make a extra click to get the entry page, there is a very good reason why.

Mr.Sweepy has helped us in many ways. It is very safe to enter on ST because of the extra trouble he does. I usually move bookmark sweep when they show up on ST.
