    HELP - ANYBODY, ANYBODY?

Can anybody tell me what might be wrong with my computer.  About 10 days ago, some of the sweeps I had been playing all along stopped working correctly.  And now a few of the new ones aren't.  It's as if they don't load all the way.  It might be the entire page, the middle of the page or just the interactive portion?  I tried updating my adobe flash player, at least I think I did.  I noticed a few other people are having problems with some of the same sweeps.  Is there something else I can try updating or might it be my firewall or video card?  Following are a few of the instants that I played this morning that didn't work correctly.  Anybody's input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and GLTA.

Nissin - I hit submit and nothing happens

Fine Living - the tic-tac-toe squares aren't there

Johnson & Johnson Body care - Login square isn't there

    S.C. Johnson - Fragrance - the tic-tac-toe squares aren't there anymore

Tropicana - entire page wouldn't load

Sears Cradle & All - entire page wouldn't load

Cooks Champagne - second page doesn't load anymore

AT&T Help Yourself - The questions don't load anymore so I only get one entry when I have to hit skip

Jack Link's - There are no cards on the table

TRY DELETING COOKIES AND INTERNET HISTORY. SOMETIMES THEY CAN BECOME CORRUPTED BY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE AND WHEN YOU RETURN TO THE SITE IT WONT WORK RIGHT.

Kimberly, I haven't been having too many problems lately. I don't enter most of the sweeps you're having problems with - my problems came from the Shaw and Guilty Pleasures sweeps, and a couple more I can't recall right now. There was some discussion lately about server-related problems since ST has apparently upgraded it's server. I never saw anything definitive about it, though. It sounds to me like your problems probably originate on your end, with your computer. I would thoroughly clean your drives and run anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. Also, de-fragmentize your drives and memory files. If you are using a Windows program, check for updates you may not have installed and check Windows Defender to see it's status. Last - if you can't fix your problem any other way, you can restore your computer to a past date when it was working correctly. There are a couple posters here who have much more computer knowledge than I do, so hopefully they will weigh in, also! Good Luck! Chuck.

try rebooting - shut down your system, wait a minute, then restart your system.  should clear up.

Thanks you guys.  I tried a few things.  I'm gonna try a few of the others, but I'm firmly starting to believe that certain sweeps aren't recognizing my flash player because I tried some of the sweeps on my son's computer last night and it was doing the same thing.  The only difference is that his computer kept saying to download the current version of Adobe flash player and I'm not getting any popups on anything whatsoever - might be a virus!  Good luck everybody!

Kimberly, Microsoft has had major upgrades to all of their operating systems during this time.  This has also happened all Microsoft SQL database servers like ours.  This is likely the cause.

If you would clear out the cookies and temporary internet files, this should solve everything. Regardless, you should clear out the cookies at least once a month and I personally clear our the temporary internet files at least once every two or three days.  This will help your computer to run cleaner and faster.

Adobe Flash hss issued a newer version.  If you have any concerns, you can go to their website and download the update from there.

I was getting many, many messages to update my Adobe, which I thought I had already done.

Finally I deleted all Adobe files from my computer, including Acrobat.  Absolutely everything re Adobe.  Then I went to the Adobe website and did a fresh download.  No messages since then.
