which ones are easier to win on?

i was doing the sweeping thing full time while on maternity leave but i have gone back to work full time and with a newborn(and two other kids 5, 7and heck my 26 yr old hubby is like a kid why not add him in there...lol), its not easy to get on here EVER, lol....but when i do i usually do a few instants (i have a select few that i do that i like) and i usually do the one time entries.....i dont do dailys cuz i dont \get on here everyday like some do and i feel i would NEVER win one only entering once....so i guess i am asking is it easier to win a one time entry or a daily entry?should i start taking a few minutes out of my day to do the dailys?

Megan:  No answer here except to say, WOW.  With your three, no four babies (Hubby included LOL) and a full time job I am surprised you have any time for yourself.  You can win on any sweep but with your time constraints, select those you really want to win.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I echo marli.  Whether they are IW, one time or daily, enter the ones you'd like to dream about winning.  If you have any time left pick out your second choices.  But I'd say you've got your hands full...geesh. GSTY!

Mjegan:  Be careful when someone posts extraordinary win $$$$$$$$$$ as an on-going thing.  Me thinks they may have stretched the $$$$$$$ amount for some reason.

Be extra careful when someone attempts to have you believe that year after year you can enter sweeps instead of having a job or other income.  That type of advice is irresponsible.

Just do the sweeps you are comfortable doing with your family and time limits.

ssjunkie, I find it much easier to hit the IW's.  The dailies are the hardest for me and I enter EVERY day, once they go on my LL. You would think that would give me an advantage, but it doesn't seem to.  We are retired so I have the time to do this, yet very few wins on dailies.  Have you tried the Mars Snickers NFL IW?  I have managed to hit that one several times lately.  They have some decent prizes too. Also though prizes are small there are lots of winners on the Pace IW and the Honey Oat Cheerios.  Kraft IWs are another lucky source for me.  Hope this helps.  I would do the one-time entries if I were you as the odds for everyone should be the same on those.  Good luck on your sweeping and congratulations on that darling new baby.  It sounds like you have a wonderful family!!

I agree with Marli -- winning is a very hit or miss proposition.  You may win 3 or 4 big ones in a couple of months and then nothing for a year.  But, I'm sure a practical person like you seem to be already realize that. GOOD LUCK!!

Re: which ones are easier to win on?

I think your odds are best with the one-time-onlies for a big win, but the instants are rewarding for small wins.  Right now, the Cheerios sweeps is paying off for a lot of us.  If you win the max of 10 times, that's $50.  (You can do a search on "Cheerios" to find it.)

You'd be surprised, though, that you can win a daily with just one entry.  One year the HGTV Dream Home was won with just one entry, for example. So I try to enter everything that appeals to me at least once.  Others might have hundreds of entries in a particular sweeps and I might have, say, 14, but I still feel I can win.

So, I agree with Marli, enter the ones that make you happiest to dream of winning.   I, too, am impressed that you have any time for it at all. Good luck!

denverdan, I think there are only 130ish people here who have ever even made it into ST's $10,000 club, even by adding up their winnings over many years.  So you are quite exceptional to win so much so consistently, particularly if you are winning actual money that can be used to pay for housing, food, a car, and utilities, as a job would. Congratulations.  Even if you are winning luxuries that you then sell for money to actually live on, that is still quite an accomplishment.  (But more like work, to me.)

Re: which ones are easier to win on?

Not sure how anyone could spend 8 hrs a day entering sweeps. Show me where all these sweeps are? It takes me about 30 minutes on ST and about that on a few other sites and that's about it for one day. I'm disabled, retired, and unemployed so I have plenty of time but an hour a day at most on Sweeps. I love IW's - with IW's I sometimes start at the top of the LL and sometimes at the bottom. I enter ALL  Daily Entries and then one time entries, I'm new at this and it can be quite a chore at times but one win just keeps you going. Be persistant and don't give up.  And keep it up as long as it is fun.
