    Do You read the rules?

I must admit that I look at the prize, skip the rules, and use Roboform to fill in the tetious part.I just started sweeping, and sweep for a hour or two a day.I won a 25 day gas card.I know its a numbers game and a dose of  luck,so I'm not going to get bummed out if I don't winCrying I listen to talk radio, music,or tv and time passes quick Cool I will look into some strategies to increase the odds.So far,Daily and instant win seem to fit that catagory.

I, too, generally skip the rules unless there is a particular point I need clarified. On some trips, I check for the time between actual winner announcement and start of trip, if required for an event, say.  That ensures I'll have time to schedule time off from work.  Hate to win and find out I only have three days to get off only to find I can't get the time on such short notice, for example.

Re: Do You read the rules?

I usually don't, unless I have a question on something. I just look at Mr. Sweepy's notes & skim  the member comments below when it's a new sweep to see if there's anything out of the ordinary. I'm still pretty new too, so maybe the long-timers do & maybe I'll learn the hard way that I should, but I'll burn that bridge when I come to itSurprise

Re: Do You read the rules?

I'm one of those cautious people that do read the rules most of the time.  I have found a few that say "one per household" in the rules but somehow got overlooked and weren't mentioned in Mr. Sweepy's notes.  I try to pass that kind of info along in the comment section of the sweep and I know others have done the same, but a lot of people don't read the comments and are missing out.  We have to remember that Mr. Sweepy and his staff have a very big undertaking and human error is to be expected once in a while.  We need to help them, and each other by passing additional information along in the comments.   Good Luck To Everyone!!

I also try to read/skim the rules along with members comments before I enter a contest.  I almost always email Mr. Sweepy if I find a discrepancy, just to see what he thinks.  I hope he doesn't get tired of me "hounding" him. . . .   I don't think he does, though.  He ALWAYS answers, and rather quickly.  But, what else would one expect. . . . he IS Mr. Sweepy!!!  CoolYes
