Don't ya love the smell of cash.  Okay, that was a deep breath.  Nuff said, now back to your sweeps!  Congrats.

WOW!  That was the Fastest Payout I've ever seen! I'm happy for you that it didn't take forever for them to send it to you, I'm sure that was a big relief.  LOL

My family always laughs at me for thinking that I MIGHT win something... AND they laughed at me when I joined SWEEPSTAKESTODAY....  Just yesterday while talking about the site, etc... My husband says "And, what have you won so far?" (I have only started the various sweeps since I joined here, Sept 16, I think....) They scoff at me for entering the HGTV sweeps, INCLUDING the Dream Home, Green Home, and the other cash ones. When I told them that a member of Mr Sweepy's site won the HGTV Great Fall Giveaway...  $75,000.... GUESS WHAT... They're not laughing anymore. CONGRATULATIONS and GIVE THANKS, sjncousin.... Enjoy the blessing!

Congrats!  You will find your big win is the subject of many conversations around you.  If I remember correctly, Mr. Sweepy offered some type of bonus/reward for getting publicity in your newspaper featuring your win.  Contact him and see if the offer is still going.

That was quick delivery of your money!   What a great prize.   Big congrats!   As others here have said, I too have shared your story with others.  So neat to have one of our members win such a big prize.   Again, congrats! 

 Thinking you could be a cousin of mine would you like my address to send a donation to my favorite charity  (myself).  It seems weird when they send and affidavit and you have to sign for it but you dont on a big check.  The same happened to me I had to return and affidavit on a trip with a $2,000.00 Visa card.  The judging agency called me and told me the day I would get it and I would need to sign for it, that never happened the FedExpress guy just handed it to me without a signature.  CONGRATULATIONS to you I am very proud to see one of our members win this big money.   Good Luck and keep sweeping.

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who responded to my post(s.) I sincerely appreciate all the great comments each of you shared with me! It has been refreshing & enjoyable to read through all of them. The camaraderie in the ST forums is so supportive.  I am very thankful and appreciative for it---especially during the slow, "non-winning periods" --which we all experience. My HGTV GP win was solely due to determined, regular entries and (I believe) pure luck. I don't think there is any type of formula for winning a sweep, just consistency. I personally maintain that with a positive, proactive attitude, anyone can achieve almost anything they desire.

Well the money is in the bank and now I'm working on investing, taxes etc. It will be so nice to be able to pay off some of my personal debt, treat myself to a few new toys etc., as well as being able to place an amount into some financial plans for savings. I am not a wealthy person financially, but I have a wealth of good friends and family that any amount of money can't buy or replace. (I include my ST associates/friends in this family!)

Congratulations & thank you for your update. I agree that it just takes consistency & luck. I love reading about everyone's wins, especially the really big ones like yours! Even though I haven't experienced anything like that, it gives me hope that it's still to come.
