    Creative Presentations

I always read the posts on the sweeps and sometimes it says creative presentation.

Exactly what is a Creative Presentation?  Are they harder to win?  Are they worth entering?

I'm wondering all this because they really seem to have the highest dollar amounts as prizes!

    Thanks!

Question: What Are Creative Presentation Sweepstakes?

I've seen a lot of large sweepstakes listed as "creative presentations." What is a creative presentation sweepstake, and what does this sweepstake type mean for my chances of entering?

    Answer:

Creative presentations are a way for companies to pool their resources to offer sweepstakes with huge prizes. The downside is that the chances to win those prizes are much lower for the entrants. The way these sweepstakes usually work is that a number of companies run sweepstakes on their own pages.

Entrants can enter on each page, sometimes daily. Each page offers a large prize, and they might offer smaller prizes as well. However, when the time for the drawing comes, only one of the participating websites is randomly selected to be the winning contest. That means that if you didn't enter on that particular page, you have no chance of winning the prize. It also means that although many sites may seem to be offering great prizes, only one will actually be given away.

Creative presentations are attractive for companies who are looking to harvest information from sweepstakes entries. For sweepers, however, they are frustrating because of the extremely low chances of winning.

    Thanks!

So I guess that means that even if you think that you have found all the magazines (it seems that they are usually magazines!)  There might be a different company also running the same promotion so you could be out of luck.

I guess it's the dollar amount $100,000 that makes you want to enter these anyway!

    Re: Creative Presentations

I don't think most of them are. I do lots of them that are just for one company.

    P.S. Thanks, kickstand1.

Just one more reason to scowl at E-prize if true! They have more problems running their sweeps than all the rest combined, in my opinion... I wish they were the standard of the field instead of what they are, since they run so many contests.

    WINNERS are not QUITTERS!

    Re: Creative Presentations

While ePrize will use the term "Creative Presentations" in their rules, most of these sweeps are not being marteting on multiple websites or different companies.  I also count a "Creative Presentation" is when a sponsor will use ePrize as the administrator but at the same time, ePrize will publish the sweep on their own website.  So, their definition can be very loose.

Ventura and Associates will run a Creative Presentation yearly with all of the Conte Nast magazines.  It is a daily sweep that runs a full year and is called something like "Dreams Come True".  They might run this on 20 to 30 magazines.  This I refuse to run because the odds are so bad.

    Thanks for the question,
