I use an Excel spreadsheet.  Date won, prize won, $$$, date received, comments, etc.

I haven't won enough to get fancy yet - I just write them down in a small notebook: date of win or notification; item and value; and sponsor. Some day when I have enough to list, I'll probably do what others have done and list them on my tag line.

I keep a list in the same notebook I keep UPC codes, passwords etc.  It really helps when you have "those days" when you think you aren't winning anything to look at your list and realize it's only been a few weeks since a win, not months like your brain is telling you.

I used to use a spreadsheet.  Now I just put 'em here and file any particulars or notes, etc.  Duplication of effort became less when I made the change.

Don't bother keeping track. I win, I receive, I move on.

Re: keeping track of your winnings

I also use a spreadsheet to keep track of my wins. I post the date I won, the date it was rec'd, ARV, expiration (if there is one) and a link to the sweeps &/or the rules. This comes in handy for when a prize doesn't arrive. I also retain any winning notifications or correspondance in a "prizes won" folder in my email box. I can then forward my notification to them to prove my win, if necessary. (It has helped me get my prize more than once!)

Since about 20% of my wins come from non-ST sweeps/methods, I have to keep a log separate from this site/my profile. The main page/sheet on my spreadsheet is for wins from all sweepstakes, the second page/sheet is for ST only wins... since I needed to keep track in order to join the 10k Club. Big Smile

Total won from ALL sweepstakes since January 2007: $30,514.85

Re: keeping track of your winnings

I enter a lot of sweeps everyday, ST and others and I've never had a win that wasn't ST...seems like I would give up on the others doesn't it...just that OCD kicking in...LOL
