I agree with 1crazycatlady, I enter just for myself just in case.  When you enter for other people with different addresses than you, from the same computer  I would think that they could see that the IP address is the same and maybe question that.  When my daughter visits I won't let her enter sweeps from my house using her computer but my wireless connection as the IP address would be the same. As for entering for someone else that lives in the house, I just won't take the chance of being DQ'd

I went to the site posted by 1crazycatlady and the following is what really surprises me -- it seems to say if ANY of the info matches (even if 1 per person/per email address) you can be DQ'd -- hardly fair

De-duper - People who try to enter multiple individuals under the same
address can be filtered out if some of the information they provide matches
    that of another registered profile.

To answer your question 1CrazyCatLady I am one of those people that played the HoneyNutsCheerios game 10 times a day and never won.  No I personally never entered anyone else (not even my husband)  however my daughter who is currently living with us has her own computer and although not an avid sweeper does play a few from "her" computer.  (same internet provider)   I know she played the HoneyNuts game and  never won either.  Your question is a very good one and hopefully others will respond so that we can all put our heads together and come to some conclusion.

I have heard it is safe to enter yourself on an instant win game until you've reached the limit and then start entering on the NEXT day for another person in the family with a new e-mail address. Apparently a lot of people are doing this and making it just fine.  Smile

I hear as long as they say one per e-mail address and per person a day, and they don't mention per household that you will not get disqualified. I may decide to risk this, still thinking about that.

Anyone have an opinion about my last post?

I never heard that.  It seems like it should be okay, but I have become so averse to the risk of being put on a dq list that I still probably wouldn't do it, myself.

Yes, it scares me too. I entered my husband on the Cheerios since I'm finished because it doesn't say only one per household. And I am doing the Pace for him now also. But I haven't won anything on either and I think I will quit because it's not worth worrying about. According to the rules it should be fine, but I just don't trust anything after all the horror stories.

CrazyCatLady...I wanted to let you know I do play for both me and my husband on the Pace sweep. He has won 3 times and I have won twice and all of the coupons have been received.  I'm pretty certain you will be okay on this one.

Thanks for that information, sunshine.  Did you play twice on the same day? That's encouraging.

Yes, I played for him in the morning and for myself in the evening.

Wow! You are brave. It's just so tempting to play for him now that I can't win anymore. After all, without Pace and Cheerios and the Mars game I have nothing else to look forward to. The other ones are hard to win.

    Re: official rules dilema

I generally only enter for myself.  But occassionally, I'll drop my better half's name in the hopper.  The rules usually tip me off if that is okay.  If it says one entry per person/email without other restrictions, I go for it.  If, however, it further states per address or household or phone number, I don't go there.    little caveat.  In a local promo, the print media (it is a phone entry sweeps) says, one per person/household address. When you call in to enter, it tells you, one daily entry per phone number (I have four for business).  When you go through the data fields for entry, it asks for the address.  I enter one number only.

    Re: official rules dilema

Update: I am now entering my husband on the Honey Nut Cheerios game. ePrize sent him the welcome note and guess what? I won him $5 already! Now, the catch is, I will have to wait until March to see if he gets these. It only said limit of 10 per person, not per household.  So if it's true that all they DQ are entries from the same household on the same date, I think we'll be OK.

I am still playing him on the Pace game too, haven't won yet.
