Congratulations on your wins, very nice. Claim fair market value on it and you would be surprised how much you can save. On my first automobile win I claimed about $7,000 less and on my 2nd automobile win I claimed $5,000.00 less than the 1099 and explained I was claiming fair market value and it went through fine and it has been past 10 years so I know I am safe from that. Really AB-FAB on your wins. Forget the Banks though. They are not your friend. They pay peanuts in interest for your money but charge you out the ya-ya to borrow from them. You might get about $10 in interest on $10,000 for 10 days.
