August celebrations are belated, because I procrastinated......Laid back watching the growing grass, minutes, hours, days did pass.....Friend first emailed to kindly ask, others chimed in taking me to task....Threat was kinda scary, not wishing to antagonize or create an adversary.....I guess I'd better say, Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday.

Our resident poet is back dispensing celebratory words in his unique style.  He shares the flower and gem of the month, but more than that he gives us words to ponder.  He keeps us grounded and reminds us that we are part of a larger community that takes time to celebrate our special days.

So, happy birthday greetings on your great day.  To those joined in wedded bliss may you enjoy your anniversary.

Thank you Jim for all you do for your fellow members, your poetry is always right on target whatever the subject, and we do miss it so much when you're not posting, but I'm glad too that you have time to stop and watch the grass grow.  LOL

 Thanks for keeping the calendar for us, Jim. I echo Mary's sentiments.  If it weren't for your dilligence, I certainly would be remiss in my efforts to remember the important dates of fellow sweepers.  To all who have celebrated a birthday this month, Merry Cake 'n Candle Day!  To those who are celebrating an anniversay, best wishes for many more happy years and celebrations to come. 

Thanks for the August celebrations Jim.  Also, so glad to see your smiling voice once again!
