ups phone call on sunday?

has anyone ever been called in advance to make sure you will be home to sign for a delivery?I have never had this happen until today. I have missed delivery and been left a note saying they would be back next buisness day as package requires signature.anyone any explanation!!!

We must sign for UPS at work and if I have already left he leaves a note on the door saying he tried to deliver and will return the following day.

Sunday or next business day which would be Monday?

Yes denverdan, I have hadFed-Ex, UPS, and the Postoffice leave such a note. Let us Know!!

Are you saying they left the note on Sunday? Are you sure it was not there before?

They just leave package here where I live, but I do know they sometimes leave notes other places. If we're not home they put in garage or wherever. But on Sunday?? Never to my knowledge. Would have had to have been left on Friday as they don't deliver on weekends. Not where I live at least.Keep us posted.

You can sign a waiver stating the driver can leave the package if you are not at home. Also, can sign the back of the note they left you releasing them to leave it the next day.

Be persistant, enter daily and you will have many days of happy sweeping!
