    BIG WINNERS

I would be curious to know how some of our big winners actually filled out their entries that won. I use ROBO and Google auto fill most of the time. I did try manual for a couple of months; to no avail. Do you use Robo, Google, manual, or a combination? I would like to find out how you won on the actual entry, if you can remember. I enter around 150 to 200 entries daily and hardly ever miss a day, but my last big win was in Jan. of 2006. Three years is a LONG dry spell. My highest win since then is a $150. maid service. I enter all kinds from small Woman's Day to large cash sweeps. I am thankful for the instants that keep me plugging. I do use most of the little tricks everyone has posted, but I still can not seem to win. Maybe I have been blacklisted? I'm getting very discouraged after all this time and would like to find out how you enter.

    Re: BIG WINNERS

owilkins,  I just returned from the Indy500 trip Miller/Coors was so nice to give me. filled out the forms everytime with ROBO and before i could send the affy back ePrize sent me a win notification for the U.S. Open Challenge Voting Sweepstakes (2010 U. S. Open). also filled with ROBO. So it doesn't seem to matter.

Good luck keep plugging away i know i am.

I use ROBO or autofill...biggest win was a trip I couldn't take valued at $4500. I've won $3K since so it doesn't matter whether you manually fill your entries out or use some form of autofill. Good Luck!
Be persistant, enter daily and you will have many days of happy sweeping!

I believe out my 4 big wins (over $1,000), three were filled out with Roboform and one was filled out manually (flash sweep). MANY MANY other smaller wins with Roboform.

Keep plugging away, streaks are a part of this, both good and bad. Good luck, and maybe you'll hit another big one soon! :)

Thanks for your response, guys. I use a combination of Google auto fill and Robo. I wonder if that could be hurting my chances? Maybe I should stick with one or the other?

I use autofill exclusively - don't know anything about robofill.  the only time i manually fill out the info is when it's a flash, and autofill doesn't work.

    Autofill here.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

All my wins are initially entered using Auto-Fill, (since some returning entries are by log-in). I too am in a blue funk slump, with only two wins total since last November (Even instants are eluding me) with the exception of a $5 Chevron GC, which actually is a scratch-off. I believe the economy is the culprit with thousands of new entrants increasing the odds of winning to an astronomical number.

Owilkins, Whether you use RoboForm, Google Toolbar or Microsoft AutoComplete, all three of these fillers are based on your computer. There is no way for a sponsor or administrator to tell if you have used one of these programs or not.

Thereby, there is NO WAY you can be blacklisted for using any of them. So bury this thought completely.

As I always have said, every long time sweeper will go through a non-winning streak. I don't know who can say otherwise. It is simply a part of the hobby.

Just keep after it and things will change for you.

Jim, Even though unemployement is higher and the economy is down, I really can not contribute the member increase to either of these factors. I know for a fact that about 8 our of 10 new members don't even enter 50 times. Many of those 8 don't even enter 10 times. Then those 8 usually quit anyway.

However I am surprised to see more sweepstakes of really good quality for this year. I believe that the sponsors are getting worried about inflation that will come and as a result, they are trying to aquire new clients now instead of waiting.

Overall I have seen more entries but there have been more sweeps also. The membership is higher but I have not seen a significant increase in total page views or click throughs. With the start of summer, the entry count will be lower but pickup again in the fall.

Long story short....  You are in a slump.  Hang in there and it will turn around.

    Re: BIG WINNERS

I agree totally with Mr. S...a slump is a slump is a slump...  also noticed the prizes bigger..many prizes 10,000 and more cars.  It is hard too enter everyday when you haven't won in a while but there's nothing better then that Congratulations Email or a suprise box at your door.  Just gotta hang in there!

Something else to remember... On average, a member will win 10 to 20 smaller prizes to each 1099-MISC win. I don't have enough information to narrow down the ratios between smaller prize wins and bigger prizes.  However this will give you some food for thought.

I have seen some members including myself where the small prize to 1099-MISC ratio was closer 5 to 1. In other words, this is a hot streak.

Last, I always considered a good year sweeping having won a 1099-MISC. Personally I have averaged over that in a 10 years of online sweepstakes. During this time, I averaged over 50 entries per day. However in the last 4 to 5 years, my average has dropped to less than 15 per day. Again, sweeping is a numbers game and I understand while I will not win big. It is simply because I don't enter enough.

Mr. Sweepy: So, how many members do we have that average over 150 sweeps per day in any given month ?
